Handy for old-school legacy PC's
Here's how it goes. Once you tell someone that you're into computers, you're flooded with requests to fix their laptop or stodgy old desktop that has more dust in it per weight than hardware. That it even boots is a miracle, but don't expect it to have USB support, too!
An adaptor is what you need; a USB Type A Female to PS/2 Male converter. It couldn't be easier. In one end, you plug your USB keyboard or USB mouse, and then plug it straight into the back of an old, old, embarrassingly slow and outdated PC. It could be worse, I guess – you could be trying to convert an old PC/AT keyboard plug (sorry, can't help you there!).
That's it for this adaptor; just one use. But it's a doozy. If you want to plug a modern, wired keyboard into a legacy PC for some super-cool gaming from yesteryear; this will make it happen!
