DisplayPort Splitters allow you to Mirror and Extend your computer screen scross multiple displays. This is natively supported by MST (Multi-Stream) features within the DisplayPort standard. The only thing to keep in mind is that your device needs to support DP MST, and the total bandwidth of the cable is shared accross the displays (see each product below for compatibility details).
As DisplayPort can connect to most video standard when DisplayPort is the source, a HDMI to DisplayPort Converter will be required if you're trying to connect a HDMI source, to a DisplayPort screen.
