Versatile HDMI Extension Cables are here!
Connnect this handy 30cm HDMI Extension Cable to hard to access HDMI sockets at the back of your monitor or TV to allow easier access! Supports HDMI v2.0 (High-Speed with Ethernet) and HDCP v1.2 for 3D @ 1080p, and resolutions up to 4K 60Hz.
For years we scratched our heads as to why you would need a HDMI extension cable - all by default all HDMI devices feature HDMI Sockets, and so the cables just need the male Plugs...
Application 1: Extending an existing HDMI Cable
Although our longer HDMI Extension cables are better suited to this task, there's alwayss times when an existing HDMI cable is just too short for the job at hand. And while in most cases we'd reccommend just getting the right length cable, and extension cable can be handy for adding an extra few metres in most situations. Just be careful when using HDMI extensions on already long HDMI cable runs. Just because you might be able to get a 1080p/60Hz signal working with a single 20m HDMI Cable, that doesn't mean a 15m + 5m Extension cable will work to the same ability (remember, there's signal loss every time you add another join into a cable run). This is why our HDMI Extension cables are sold in shorter lengths, primarilly to be used as a 'cabled adapter', more than for joining two cables to make a longer run - a HDMI repeater should be used for such applications.
Application 2: Adding accessibility to an obscured HDMI socket
So you've got a TV or Monitor where the HDMI sockets are hard to reach? Or maybe you just need to frequently connect and disconnect HDMI devices, and accessing your HDMI ports is a pain - well this HDMI Extendion cable is for you!
Simply connect the male end of your HDMI Extension Cable to the hard to reach HDMI socket, and leave the Female end in an easy to access location. Now you can plug and play all you want - Presto!

Product Review by Peter,
I recently required a HDMI cable and was quoted $200 from a Harvey Norman store.
I found Cable Chick online and started my own research. I rang the office to confirm some technical points and was very impressed with the honest advice. I purchased the same quality product as well as an Optic Fibre cable and had them delivered the following day for a total of $77. I live 2000 kms from their office so this was great. I was extremely impressed and have already started looking into other cables etc that I need.
I wont buy from anywhere else now.

Product Review by Rob,
I recently purchased 2 x 10 metres lengths of high quality HDMI cabling (for internal wall routing in two terraces I am currently constructing in Sydney) from Cable Chick.
Ordering on-line was made very simple, and their website made navigation - right from product enquiry through to finalising the purchase - a hassle free process. My order was delivered within the timeframe that was committed to, and in excellent condition. Thanks Cable Chick
for at least making one element of the building process really easy !

I have an HDMI projector. I plan to use this 10m cable to connect HDMI devices, and in conjunction with an DVI->HDMI adapter, DVI sources such as laptops to the projector, in a board room situation.
Will this work?
"Yes, you can certainly use a DVI to HDMI adaptor to connect DVI devices to your HDMI compatible Projector.
Alternatively you could just use a DVI to HDMI Cable which would save the need for adaptors and any possible signal loss.
Please note that DVI transfers a Video signal only, so when going from DVI to HDMI, the Audio ability of the HDMI cable will not be utilised.
If you need to connecto multiple devices to your projector, a HDMI or DVI switch may also be required."
