Product Launch - Premium Stereo Bluetooth Headset

Our new line of Bluetooth headsets premieres with this outstanding all-rounder.

Premium Bluetooth Headset - Wired/WirelessSpending less than $150 on a pair of headphones is always a gamble, but there are budget priced sets of cans around that sound great and don't cost an arm and a leg (or even an ear).

Cable Chick's flagship product in their new line of Bluetooth Headsets is just such a pair, offering exceptional audio and features at a reduced price.

Incredible audio quality.

First and foremost, the primary function of any set of headphones or earbuds is to provide a clean audio soundscape that matches the source material as closely as possible. We were delighted with the range and clarity available on this Premium Headset, with a night crisp top end and enough bass to do all our music justice.

Of course, there are some compromises at this price point, with a little bit of distortion creeping in at higher volumes, mainly because this headset lets you really crank up the decibels where other models might not. At regular listening levels, there's nothing to complain about.

Exceptional comfort.

The next most important thing we always check for is overall comfort of our headsets. Supra-Aural cans are always at a disadvantage compared to other styles of headphone, but the padded ear cups and adjustable headband will suit most teens and all but the very largest of adults.

Bells and Whistles.

This headset can be used wirelessly via Bluetooth pairing to any Bluetooth enabled smartphone, tablet, laptop or computer, and includes the ability to receive calls and use the built-in mic for a hands-free conversation. If your phone supports the features, it can access voice dialling and redial functions as well.

With the included 3.5mm cable, or your own longer cable, the microphone can be foregone and the headset used as regular headphones for listening only. This auxiliary connection is excellent for expanding the range of compatible audio sources which can be connected, and helps extend battery life by giving the wireless components a rest.

The only thing we found missing on this pair of headphones was a Micro-SD card slot. At this price point it would have been nice to directly access our MP3 files without running two devices at once, but in exchange for the higher comfort and sound quality, it's a small price to pay.

Easy to use, built to last.

Build quality was a real winner here, with metal components, smooth PU leather and strong plastic casing. Even though they aren't a folding design, the headphones weigh only 175g and should stand up well to daily use and travel.

Pairing is a breeze, and a full instruction manual is included. Charging via the USB cable couldn't be easier, and you can get up to 18 hours of play time per cycle. Volume control is built-in, so you don't have to worry if your music collection isn't normalised.

Overall, we would recommend these cans to anyone who needed additional mobility for use when travelling or wanted to enjoy their music tether-free around the home or office. The lightweight construction and comfort also make them great for younger users, too!
