If you're looking for a simple way to cast content from your smartphone or tablet to a TV, Projector or Monitor (especially one that doesn't have smart wireless display features) then look no further! This simple little device pairs with your iOS or Android device, and recieves video and audio wirelessly, offering a HDMI connection to your display of choice for screen mirroring.
Included in the kit is a USB Type-A to Type-C power cable, a short HDMI cable, a user guide and the receiver itself. Pairing is as easy as connecting to the dongle's WiFi hotspot that activates when it is powered up. It even shows the instructions on the connected screen so you don't have to remember the steps!
It boasts up to 4K image support over 2.4G/5G dual-band technology, and has superior image stability and low lag (about half a second) compared to similar devices on the market, making it great for video playback but not as hot for real-time gaming.
Works with Apple iOS Screen Mirroring on iOS 9.0 and above, as well as Android 4.2 or above via Smart View / Screen Cast / Wireless Display modes depending on your device brand.
Please note: This Wireless HDMI Receiver acts as a WiFi hotspot. Your device (eg: phone, laptop etc) will not be able to access your home WiFi while connected to this receiver. As a result, you will not be able to access streaming apps such as NetFlix, Disney+, etc and any other apps that require an internet connection.
