I trawled through the internet to find the right solution for my A/V distribution and bought this product (powered 4-port HDMI splitter) without much further research. And I'm so glad that I did!
The product just works! I split a 1080p source over a distance of 30 meters over CAT6, and the result was stunning. There was no discernible loss of audio or visual quality; the 1080p source was replicated perfectly onto the second output.
The box itself is made of high quality metal, very sturdy and quite heavy.
I highly recommend this product as a much more cost effective A/V distribution alternative to the much more complicated and expensive solutions from Clipsal. 
How do you connect an xbox 360 slim with HDMI out to a video projector at the same time a flat screen TV in one room and another in the kitchen for monitoring what the kids are up too? This little device is the answer. I am very impressed on the ease of set-up and use, and as it is a VDA (Video Distribution Amplifier in old school terms) means no signal degradation, even over longer cable runs.
The HDCP pass through works flawlessly too on all devices, even if a device is turned off/disconnected/reconnected, the others still are seen by the HDCP system, so no interruption to your viewing pleasure. A truly flexible solution.
