Never used Gaffer table before? Well, it's superior to most tapes you're used to. Vinyl electrical tape leaves a sticky mess in no time. Masking tape is only good short-term. Regular sticky tape gives up with any moisture. Gaffer tape? It's a perfect blend of super strong and easy to work with!
Gaffer tape is the stuff they use on movie sets and theatre stages for just about everything, but especially cable management. It's a Polyethylene-coated cloth tape, 48mm wide, with a very aggressive natural rubber-resin blend adhesive system. But it doesn't leave much if any residue on most surfaces, so you won't be coming back with eucalyptus oil to remove grubby leftovers.
This Nashua brand is a top-quality product, with excellent resistance to tear and water resistance. Cut it with scissors, or practice tearing strips with your bare hands like the pros do - but rest assured, once it's stuck down, it's like armour for your cables.
