Confirm your charging rate at a glance
Devices are charging faster and faster; heck, laptops can pull down 100W and your phone probably won't get out of bed for less than 20W. So, how do you know if you're getting all you need out of your chargers? Which one is fastest when you need a quick top-up before going out?
That's where a little LED read-out helps. At a glance, and even in the dark, you can see how many Watts are going through the cable at any one time. If you know the top speeds of your charger and your device, you can see if you're reaching that top common current. If you don't know those numbers, you can go through a process of elimination to find your fastest combo. Only seeing 2.4W? That's trickle charging, and could happen because you're using a USB extension cable or your power source is too weak. Easy!
This is a well-made cable with black plugs and nylon braid, so it won't stand out in a crowd. When not plugged in to power, you can barely tell it has a display in it at all.
Why Watts? Watts are used in your phone and charger specs, so it's easy to match numbers without having to multiply Volts * Amps to get back to Watts anyway. Need to know Volts and Amps, too? We have a clever USB Output Meter for that.
Designed for use with USB-A power outputs (chargers) and USB-C devices (laptops, phones, etc). Does transmit data at USB 2.0 speeds, but is primarily designed for fast charging.
