Keep your eyes on the road with a virtual HUD Speedometer with Auto-Dimming.
Heads-Up Display Speedometers have been around since the 2010's, but even now they're not very common, even in top of the line car brands. If you've never used one, you're in for a treat. Basically, your speed is 'projected' onto a transparent-yet-reflective area on the windshield, bouncing the illuminated numbers back to you. This places them in clear line-of-sight while driving, offering a very fast check while keeping your eyes mostly on the road.
This HUD unit can be added to any vehicle, and its simplicity is a blessing to those who hate fiddly options. It is truly a plug and play unit -there are no buttons bump or bedistracted by. You only get a KPH reading - no choice for MPH. And it can really only be calibrated for just one driver - the distance between the seat and the eyeballs of each driver has to be consistent for the reflector film to line up. If configured for a giraffe, ther height-challenged besite won't see the numbers.
It takes about 30 seconds to find the GPS, which is great for getting you underway faster. The reflective film is included in the kit to attach to the inside of your widescreen and ensure bright, clear HUD visuals. Also included is a 1.8m USB-A to USB-C cable for the 5V power it needs to run. Connect to your car's USB outlet or a car charger (charger sold separatey) and away it goes. It can also run off a battery bank, but it draws such a small amount of power that many powerbanks will switch themselves off after a short period so please test before your first important journey!
