Easy PC/Gaming Headset conversion.

Avencore Crystal Series TRRS Stereo/Mic cables are a perfect match for your PC, Laptop or Console Headset!

This adapter is the perfect companion for Gaming headsets which use a single 4-Pole 3.5mm plug for combined stereo and mic connections. With this adapter, you can convert any gaming headset which uses a TRRS combination plug to work with separate stereo and mic TRS sockets. Great for working with laptops and desktops which have standard individual audio jacks.

Each of the aluminium plug barrels houses gold-plated contacts and a colour-coded strain relief cuff to ensure a high-quality connection every time. 30AWG oxygen free copper cores provide perfect electrical transmission, so you won't know the adapter is even there.

Note: Apple hands-free and earbud headset microphones are not compatible with PCs or gaming consoles. Plese check for console headset compatibility before using with PCs.

Question: Do you have a female to 2 male splitter but with longer cable?
Answer: "Unfortunately this is the only length available to us at this time, but this adapter can be combined with a TRRS extension (product code TRRS1290) and/or 2 x TRS extensions (product code AUX3203)."

Question: Is there a difference between mic and headphone cord? I'm looking for this set up for left and right ears for a single set of headphones?
Answer: "Yes. The TRRS socket has an extra contact just for the microphone. Our pinout diagram above should help show what the product is capable of. It cannot split the left and right channels of regular stereo headphones, it is only for TRRS applications."

Question: Is it shielded?
Answer: "No. This is just a jacketed cable adapter of a similar quality to standard PC headset cabling."

Question: Is the signal maintained in stero (ie: from the single headset 3.5mm to each of the individual headphone and microphone jacks for connection to PC or is it mono?
Answer: "Stereo is retained for output, but the microphone is a mono signal. This cable is designed for use with a stereo headset that uses one 4-pole 3.5mm jack. All headsets of this type have mono microphones as there is only a single terminal for mic. Our wiring diagram above may help show the channel separation.

If the mic were recorded in stereo, it would simply be dual mono."

Question: Will this allow me to use my Sennheiser HD4.20s to listen to sound, while using the in-line microphone on a PC (for gaming)? The Sennheiser connector is TRRS?
Answer: "As long as the TRRS connector on on the headset is the CTIA standard, then yes, it will work with this TRRS to 3.5mm stereo & mic splitter cable."

Question: What is the length of the cable?
Answer: "The length of the cable is 20cm."
