This is one of those moment when the power can go to your head... I mean to have a 20,000mAh power bank - who would have thought it would be possible in a unit this size! Well thanks to the latest Li-Polymer battery technology - the same as used in iPads - such a slim design is possible.
Anyhow, if you can excuse my 'geek moment', I will continue...
By now you know all the details, you've read up on our other (smaller) power bank models. Well there's not much more to say here, other than to mention that this monster of a power bank has enough stored charge, to fully charge an iPad Air - now that's power on the go. You've got something smaller like a pocket tablet or smartphone? Then you'll be able to charge those devices several times without even thinking greasing the pockets of your local electricity company!
Essental power on-the-go for business and travellers!
You deposit power in by charging it up at home (which can take 4-6 hours first go), and then take it with you on your journeys. At any time, you can make a power withdrawal by attaching your mobile device using its own cable, or use one of the adapters included. You have on-the-go access to a 1A and a 2.4A charging port, with Smart-Charge technology to ensure maximum charging performance for all connected devices.
Charging the battery bank itself is simple, too - just use the included USB cable to connect to any powered USB socket (like on your computer, or an optional USB wall socket charger). LED indicators on the back of the device shows charging state and power reserve. Charge and discharge functions are automatic - the power button simply shows the current charge state.
What is an mAh and how many do I need?
Our battery banks and the batteries in your mobile devices are rated on the power delivered over a discharge interval. Confused? Not to worry! The bottom lines is that power is fairly inefficient when being exchanged this way, so a general rule is that you'll need three to four times the mAh power transfer rating, when compared to the size of the battery you want to charge up. Below is a general guide for the battery sizes of some popular phones and tablets:
- Apple iPad 1 & 2 = 6940mAh Battery
- Apple iPad 3 & 4 = 11600mAh Battery
- Apple iPhone 4 / 4S / 5 = 1400mAh
- Samsung Galaxy S1 / S2 / S3 / S4 = 1500mAh / 1650mAh / 2100mAh / 2600mAh
- Samsung Galaxy Note / Note 2 / Galaxy Tab = 3100mAh / 7000mAh
- HTC Smartphones (most models) = 1000-1700mAh Battery
- Nokia N70 / N80 / N90 Series = 1000-1500mAh
- BlackBerry 7000/8000/9000 Series = 1000-1250mAh Battery
- Google Nexus 7 / Nexus 10 = 4300mAh / 9000mAh
- Generally speaking, most smartphones have batteries in the 1000mAh to 1800mAh range, with older phones under 1000mAh.

Hello there !!! just wondering if this power bank will charge my Acer Aspire Laptop & my HTC One m8 at the same time ???? THANKS Craig?
"This power bank is not designed for Laptops. It can only charge devices which receive their power from USB. The HTC One M8 will be fine, but the Aspire needs a 240v outlet for its power pack."

Is a lightning adapter required for all mobile phones and/or iPads or is it a specific requirement - I don,t understand the need for such a cable?
"Lightning is the name of the new smaller 8-pin connector on the latest Apple devices. If you have a late-model Apple tablet or smartphone, you will need to provide your own charging cable to use this Power Bank, as the only Apple connector included is the older 30-pin adapter."

Can you use a camera battery charger on this device ? If so Is this particular one strong enough to do this ?
"If your camera battery charger takes its power input from USB, then this power bank should have no trouble providing power to it. The number of charges you get will depend on the capacity of the camera battery pack.
You can additionally check whether to use the 1A or 2.4A charging port by looking at the input and output specifications of the usb charger or dock device which originally came with the camera - they should be displayed on a sticker on the device; eg: DC 5V/1A"

How long does the 20,000mah model take to charge up? You say 4-6 hours the first time but how long each time after that?
"Generally speaking, each subsequent charge will be 4-6 hours as well, depending on the charging source eg: longer if charging from a laptop as opposed to a wall socket charger."

Can the Vinsic power bank charge my 2015 macbook pro retina? do you sell the cable that connects this power bank to a magsafe 2 which connects to my macbook pro?
"No. The Vinsic Power Bank is only suitable for charging devices which draw power from a USB port. Magsafe 2 delivers up to 85W, and the Vinsic can output a maximum of 10W. It is designed for use with mobile devices such as smartphones, tablets, cameras and media players rather than laptops."

I have a new IPad Pro. Will this charge it?
"Yes. It should offer approximately one full charge on the 12.9-inch iPad Pro and charge at the same speed as the iPad's included 12W USB Power Adapter (2.4Amp). 29W fast-charging would not be available."

Hi, I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and will be getting the note 7 when it releases. They have the new quick charge technology which on the charger says 2.1 amp. I think the adapter regulates it with a chip not sure if the phone does so will the phone be able to use the 2.4 amp outlet if it currently uses a 2.1 amp. I need one that quick charges at high capacity as the battery is 3220mAh so this bank will only charge it about 3.8 to 4 times according to most formulas?
"The phone will draw as much as it can depending on how much it needs and how much is available (the power bank doesn't 'push' power, the phone 'pulls' what it wants). Charging efficiency also tapers off when the phone battery is nearly empty or nearly full, and at those times it may draw less than 2.1A, but it will always go as fast as it can and the Vinsic should keep up at all times. It should provide approximately 4 full charges and the safety features in both the Note 7 and the power bank will ensure everything goes smoothly."
