5 Year Replacement Warranty on all Cables, Adapters and Connectors.

Cable Chick offers an amazing 5-year replacement warranty on all cables, adapters, converters and many other items as specified on their individual product pages! This covers you from the purchase date for a full five years against any manufacturing defects or product faults which may develop over the 'life' of the product through normal use*. Simply keep your tax invoice as proof of purchase for any warranty claims. Our warranty is limited to products purchased at CableChick.com.au or in store, and does not cover damage which may occur to your equipment through improper use.

*Normal Use is defined as any purpose for which the product is specifically stated as being suitable for, in accordance with any and all proper procedures during installation and operation of the product. Permanent installation of our products may require the professional services of a trained or qualified tradesman to maintain coverage. For such permanent installations, Cable Chick cannot accept liability for associated costs of installation or removal of any item. If you are concerned your intended use may void your warranty, please read on, or contact us for a clear yes or no answer.

• The product is physically damaged
• The product is subject to excessive force or repetitive strain
• The product is dismantled, modified, cut or deformed
• The product is painted, marked or soiled from installation or use
• The product is subject to contaminants such as sand, water, etc
• The product is subject to weather, pets or pests

If you've been unfortunate enough to suffer the hardship of a faulty product and need to lodge a warranty claim and/or product return, we'll come to the party and cover not only the replacement of that item for one of identical, equivalent or greater quality - but also the return postage should we ask for the faulty item back! 12 Month Replacement Warranty on all other Cable Chick Products

For items not covered by our 5 Year Warranty, we have a 12-Month warranty which covers the same range of manufacturing defects and normal-use faults as described above. All our products are covered on a case-by-case basis and are covered for the duration as shown on their individual product pages. Only items purchased at CableChick.com.au or in-store have warranty coverage.

Please retain your invoice as a proof of purchase for all warranty and returns claims. We also offer to pay for both replacement and return shipping on faulty products covered by our 12 Month warranty - see our Return Policy page to learn how to initiate a claim.

Our top-of-the-line Amped range of Home Theatre accessories (including cables, screen mounts and wall plates) is covered by an extended 10-Year Replacement Warranty which is governed by the same standards of normal use and voidances as detailed above - it just lasts for twice as long and gives you almost a lifetime of investment security.

Free Gifts from Cable Chick

During special promotions, you may receive a free gift with your purchase or as a result of participation in a competition or giveaway event. These may or may not appear on your tax invoice as a $0.00 value item. Whilst Cable Chick endeavours to ensure these items are of the highest quality and safety standards in accordance with Australian Law, we are unable to offer any warranty coverage for such items in the event they break or stop working as intended.

Some items we offer as gifts may be commonly available for purchase via our website for those of you who would like to buy more of them (or acquire them during a non-promotional period). Any item specifically ordered and paid for which appears on your tax invoice with a positive-number dollar value and without the designation of '*Free Gift*' is covered under the warranty specified on the product page. In such cases proof of purchase is required for the warranty to be honoured.
