The section which describes in brief the number of Inputs and Outputs only refers to each 'Set' of inputs as a single input. For example, a AV switch which takes 4 sets of Component Video, S-VHS, Coaxial Audio & TOSLINK Audio, would still be described as having 4 inputs. Back to Top Q. Yes, you can in the sense you can program your universal remote to operate this device. However, since the channel selection options on this device are up / down only (Source +, Source -), you cannot operate this device as part of an activity (macro) on your Harmony remote, eg, Watch TV, Watch DVD. For example if you plug in a TOSLINK cable, the only output that the TOSLINK input can output is TOSLINK, this applies to all the different inputs and outputs available on this switch.
