| Q. I am getting the Pioneer PDP-LX508A and the Blu-ray Disc Player BDP-LX70A. Harvey Norman said I'd be silly not to buy their recommended Monster cables of 1000HD as I'd fall short of the maximum signals between the plasma and the Blu-Ray player. How true is this?? What do you recommend me getting, if I do not care about the cost? |

A. Unfortunately many Home Theatre retailers will 'strongly recommend' purchasing a very expensive cable like this, as they will probably make almost as much money on the cable, as they will from selling you the Blu-Ray player :)
From reviewing the specifications of the Pioneer products mentioned, any of our HDMI cables will provide perfectly crisp 1080/60p or 1080/24p results on your 50" Pioneer Plasma.
