Just bought a new screen, only to find out that the mounting plate on your old wall, ceiling or desk-mount isn't the right size to fit it? Before now, you might have thrown the old bracket out, but you don't have to do that anymore! If your new screen has VESA standard holes at 100mm, 200m or 300mm square and your current bracket doesn't have the one you need, this adapter plate will bridge the gap!
Now, I want to be clear here: This isn't a wall bracket or a desk mount - this is just an adapter plate which can increase or decrease the size of your current bracket or mount with ease. You just have to make sure that your current mount is weight rated to accept both your new screen and the extra kilo of weight this adapter plate brings. Other than that, it's clear sailing!
So take your VESA200 mount up to a 300, or your universal mount down to a solid VESA100 - either permanently or temporarily! It even comes with a set of screws and washers so you won't need a trip to the local hardware store for supplies.
Note for converting down: Most brackets have a perfectly flat mounting plate, so converting down to a smaller size may block the bolt holes you intend to use. While this is not a problem for most universal brackets, please ensure that your current bracket will not block the holes you need.
