I have been trying to find a FW800 (9-pin) to FW400 (6-pin) cable for a while. Not so difficult you may think, but there was one problem - I needed one that was 5 metres long!!
I had searched all of the local places (NSW Central Coast, Newcastle, Sydney etc) but to no avail - not available, too short, what's that cable etc etc.
Then I remembered Cable Chick in QLD. They had none in stock but prompted me to leave my email address & they would email when stock was in. I figured that would be a week or so at least.
To my great surprise I got an email in a couple of days notifying me that my item was now in stock. That was yesterday at 1441 hrs. By 1500 (less than twenty minutes later) my order was in. Thirty minutes later another email - my order has been shipped!!!
Less than 24 hours later my order arrived!!
THAT IS GREAT SERVICE.
