Designed for use where length is an issue this Component Video plus Coaxial Digital Audio over CAT5 Balun / Extender Wall Plate is perfect for signal transmission up to 100 Metres. Not only that, but it'll carry your 1080p and 5.1Digital DTS signals just fine, enhancing and converting component video and digital coaxial audio as it goes. That's a lot of effort from one little piece of wall candy, hey?
This is perfect for any in-wall home theatre installation because it allows you to run CAT5e over a long distance, with short lengths of component and coaxial cable at each end. All connections are female, so you don't have to do any complex soldering to get your system working. The only other thing you'll need is some CAT5e, component or digital coaxial cable, and various lengths of each are available in our Component Cables, Digital Coaxial Cables & CAT5e Network Cable sections.

Hi, I ordered a few cables the other day and one of them (a SCART to component lead) was faulty. I called you hoping I could send it back for a replacement.The guy I spoke to (forgot his name sorry) was an absolute champion. He sent me down a new lead (before I'd even sent the old one back) so I would get it before christmas... he also included an express post envelope so I could mail the faulty one back free of charge. I suppose thats what he should of done, but I didn't expect it to be that easy...I expected a fight or at least to have to cop the cost of postage or something.
It was just fantastic customer service...just wanted to let you know...Oh and by the way, I'll post the faulty one back in tomorrow's mail.
