Trying to convey just how brilliant the Amped Seismic range is has me running short of superlatives that really put the right picture in your head. Saying that this particular Amped Seismic Double Dual Pivot Universal LCD & Plasma Wall Mount is superb really isn't doing it justice. And while the stats table below and the detailed additional photos go a long way to show you what this baby can do, I can attest that it's nothing to seeing it in the flesh.
You'll be amazed by the neat touches and clever innovations that have come together to form what is one of the best all-rounder flat panel displays I've ever laid eyes on. For a change of pace; let's do this list of accolades alphabetically so I don't forget anything.
Cable Management and Cover Plates: This bracket features a full set of removable plastic covers on both sides of every arm, so you can run your cables away from prying eyes and tenacious dust bunnies. The removable cover plates at on the wall bracket allow you to install the assembly directly over wall sockets, outlets and AV Wall Plates - giving you the option for using the shortest cable lengths possible.
Cantilever Flex Correction: +/- five degrees of rotation for the express purpose of adjusting your panel back to level when the arms are at full sideways extension. A little bit of droop is inevitable, but Cable Chick has the cure!
Extension: As little as 17.5cm from the wall out to a staggering 72cm!
Looks: Would blend in on the wall of even the poshest restaurant. Neutral silver/grey tones work equally well in both dark and light rooms, or from behind curtained walls and other decorations.
Parts Bag: Incredible support for DIY installers with full instructions including diagrams, drilling template and tools. Spacers, bolts, washers and cover plates finish off the kit so you don't need a trip to the hardware store.
Rack and Pinion Mounting: Innovative geared system ensures that your TV is centred on the mounting plate for perfect weight distribution - that means less stress for you, your screen, and the bracket, too!
Rotation: The flat panel mounting point has articulation for portrait/landscape orientation - you just loosen two screws, adjust, tighten, and voilà!
Strength: All-metal construction on all load-bearing arms and joints. Dual-spring counterweight for easier and safer panel adjustments. Extra-tough mounting plate with oversized bolts and nuts where they really count.
Universal Compatibility: The range alone proves my point; it's capable of taking a screen with mounting holes up to 555mm wide x 600mm high. Add to that a full compliment of spacers from the parts bag and you have yourself one wall mount to rule them all!
