Basic ADSL filters are realy not suitable as they don't allow the full 2.2MHz bandwidth required for ADSL 2+, and other filters may not catch all the unwanted noise. This line filter comes with a detachable 15cm RJ12 cable should you not need to connect the filter directly to the wall socket.
