Recently I needed an HDMI cable to connect my laptop to my new television. I rang the company from whom I had purchased the laptop a few weeks previously and they offered me an HDMI cable, 1.5 metres, for around $40. They forgot to mention that they were out of stock of these items and had no idea when they would be in stock (as I learned when I rang to find out where the cable had got to!).
So I rang another computer place, locally. They wanted $50 for the cable but would not deliver it to me (just a few streets away.) I am house-bound and cannot get to shops myself. So I went to Cable Chick's web site, got their telephone number, rang them, and received an HDMI cable, 1 metre (which was all I wanted) three days later.
