If you happen to have a HDMI device and a DVI-D device and you’d like them to share a HDMI port on your television or projector, this little darling can handle the job - with coaxial or RCA audio pass-through to boot. Since this isn’t a powered switch, it won’t convert your Audio inputs to HDMI, but the rest is gravy.
Here’s how it works: Input A takes your DVI-D signals and converts the video to HDMI and uses the 2xRCA for audio. Input B accepts your HDMI 1.3 audio and video and outputs them to HDMI again, allowing for you to switch between the two and the push of a button.
